ernie hartlieb

HOCKEY SKILLS COACH

Ernie Hartlieb is a former professional hockey player, who played college hockey at Miami of Ohio and received his BS degree there. During his 12 years as a pro, he played in the AHL and ECHL.. During this time as a Pro, Hartlieb set many records and retired as the Captain of the Florida Everblades with his jersey in the rafters. Hartlieb spent much of high-level training on the skating treadmill along with focused Strength and Conditioning.  Ernie contributes his success and longevity of his career to the training tools he had access to, especially the skating treadmill that made him a quick and efficient skater.  Hartlieb brings his love for hockey and  his encouraging personality to all sessions at HEAT. With his knowledge and experience in the game,  athletes are given the opportunity to improve their skating and overall game performance, using the same tools in which Hartlieb says contributed to his success while creating a fun environment to level up.

HOCKEY SKILLS COACH

Charles Linglet received his MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University in Wales and is a former professional hockey player. During his 17 years as a pro, his career took him all over the world and in many leagues including the NHL, AHL, ECHL, and KHL. During this time, Charlie had the opportunity to learn and train with some of the best and most sought after strength and conditioning coaches from North America and Europe. Charlie's devotion and commitment to proper strength training is one of the main reasons he was able to play at a high level for so long. He is bringing his vast and extensive experience to HEAT to teach, train and coach athletes from every level who are looking to improve their performance.

JUSTIN FAVERO

HOCKEY SKILLS COACH

Coach Favero is a certified Level 4 USA Hockey coach with 18 years of youth AAA and DI Prep school hockey coaching experience combined with a concentration in the individual skill development of youth to pro level players. He has helped hundreds of athletes develop into junior college and pro level hockey players and productive members of society.

 

8 years of experience with the USA Hockey olympic development program, 8 years of boarding DI prep school coaching, 5 years developing skating education programs with world renown hockey skating coach Besa Tsintsadze, 8 years of experience under the Philadelphia Flyers skills development coach, co-founder of WBS Knights youth and junior programs, 4 years in professional athlete talent management.  He started his coaching career after his sophomore year at Neumann University, where he was Co-Captain 97-99 and was founder of the mens roller hockey program while pursuing a degree in sport management.

Specialties: Skating Analysis and Education, Shooting, Passing, Stickhandling Analysis and Education, Game Tactics, Defensemen Skill Development, Team Strategy, Career Advisory

In addition to a waning mens league career, Favero owns two small businesses in Naples FL and is excited to contribute his experience to the development of hockey in SWFL with HEAT.

JORDAN BUSTARD

SPORTS PERFORMANCE COACH

Jordan Bustard played competitive hockey from AAA to Juniors in the Northeast and New England. He studied Exercise Science and played NCAA hockey at UMass Boston, where he was recognized as an elite goaltender on multiple occasions. Bustard moved to SWFL in 2018 where he played for the FGCU Eagles, winning the National Championship. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is currently completing the NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist certification. Bustard is currently working towards his Master of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. He is excited to be a trainer at HEAT working with athletes of all abilities and levels.

NATALIE ST. John

SPORTS PERFORMANCE COACH

Natalie St. John is a graduate of FGCU majoring in Sports Management. She is a ACSM Certified Personal Trainer with several years of experience in both 1:1 and group settings. She has been an active part of the JEB training program for the last year and has developed a great relationship with youth athletes from ages 6 to pro. She works with clients of all ages but has a keen interest in Sports specific training. Coach Natalie brings knowledge and experience to HEAT to train athletes to reach the next level  all while keeping training enjoyable.

LEVI HANKS

PERFORMANCE & RECOVERY SPECIALIST

Levi Hanks has been a certified personal trainer since 2010. He played collegiate football at the University of Pikeville, in Kentucky. Hanks specializes in HIIT classes, chair yoga, gentle yoga, power vinyasa, TRX, Kettlebell, and the occasional cycle class. He is passionate about bringing fitness and health to as many people as possible. Currently helping young athletes to develop a strong mind – body connection via yoga and mindful breathing. The best way to prevent hockey injuries, is by having a flexible, strong body that moves efficiently. Yoga plays a vital role in the prevention of future injuries, while also providing a time for athletes to close out the world around them and focus strictly on deep meditative breathing to help them both on and off ice.

JENNIFER ARROYO, LMT, MMP

RECOVERY SPECIALIST

Jennifer Arroyo is a licensed massage therapist (MA49504), essential oil educator, and wellness lifestyle coach.  She has been practicing massage therapy for over 14 years, working primarily in the spa industry at luxury resorts such as the Ritz-Carlton and Hyatt. Jennifer is passionate about helping others live well and experience joy in their everyday lives.  This genuine concern for the well-being of others and importance of longevity of athlete's careers combined with her attention to detail allows her to create customized experiences for each client based upon their specific health concerns and goals.

artie arroyo, LMT, MMP

RECOVERY SPECIALIST

Artie Arroyo is a Licensed Massage Therapist (MA54860) and the Co-Owner of Arroyo Health & Wellness, LLC with his wife Jennifer.    
Artie completed his Medical Massage Practitioner Certification in February of 2019 to address clients who have medically necessary massage treatment prescribed by their treating doctor.  He served on  The Hockey Summit's recovery team 2017-2019 during the July through August preseason camps providing recovery massage treatments to the athletes ranging from Jr. Hockey, College, Olympians, and European/US Professionals of ECHL/AHL and NHL. He is also served as a member of the recovery team for Belfry Hockey servicing  elite NHL players (2017-19) and select members of the U.S. and Canadian Olympic Women's Hockey teams in 2019.

As a doTerra Wellness Advocate he utilizes doTERRA essential oils in his treatment protocols for enhancing the overall health, performance and recovery of athletes and clients.
