The 2026 Belfry x HEAT Prospects Camp is designed to deliver an elite, research-based hockey development experience for dedicated 2015, 2014 and 2013 birth year players.

 

Hosted at Hertz Arena in sunny Estero, Florida, this invite-only camp combines high-level on-ice instruction, off-ice performance training, and competitive game play to help athletes elevate every aspect of their game.

Players will experience a professional-style training atmosphere focused on individual skill development within real game context. Athletes will work directly with renowned hockey development coach Darryl Belfry, whose innovative training methods have helped shape many of the NHL’s elite players, including Auston Matthews, Patrick Kane, Sidney Crosby, and Nathan MacKinnon. Belfry’s approach emphasizes the “three speeds of hockey” — speed of mind, speed of hand, and speed of foot — helping players develop the decision-making, hockey IQ, and execution required at the next level.

The camp also features specialized positional training with separate on-ice sessions for forwards and defensemen, dedicated goalie coaching, daily training-to-game transfer competitions, and comprehensive off-ice performance sessions at HEAT Training Facility inside Hertz Arena. Off-ice development is led by experienced performance coaches focused on strength, conditioning, mobility, recovery, and overall athletic performance.

In addition to elite training, players will have access to premium recovery resources including Normatec recovery systems, massage guns, turf recovery space, and catered healthy lunches throughout the week. Every aspect of the camp is intentionally designed to maximize player development, confidence, and overall performance both on and off the ice.
